Can you believe that 2025 is already drawing to a close? Here at Forever England HQ it’s been such an exciting year, filled with fresh new designs, fabulous shows and lots of chances to meet our wonderful customers and welcome them into our shops in Wells, Sidmouth and Sherborne.
Let’s rewind the clock and share some of the highlights of 2025, and the designs that defined our year.
April – unveiling new designs, perfect for spring
April is such a special month – spring has truly sprung and we’re seeing signs of new life all around us in the Somerset countryside we’re lucky enough to call home. It was the perfect time to announce the launch of a very special new bedspread design, the Melissa Blue Patchwork Bedspread. This reversible design features elegant blue roses and pretty patchwork patterns on one side, while the other has a delicate floral print on a fresh white background.
We were thrilled to make the Melissa available to pre-order in April, as we started the build-up to one of the most exciting events of the year.
May – starting summer in style
We kicked off May with a photo shoot deep in the Somerset countryside, for which we were blessed with blue skies and a real sense of summer approaching.
Later in May, we headed back to the RHS Chelsea Flower Show for the 12th time. We’re always inspired by the beauty and creativity on display at Chelsea, in the form of magical floral displays. But the main reason we love it so much is that we get to meet so many of our lovely customers.
We were over the moon to win a 4 Star Trade Stand Award. We also sold out of one of our customer favourites, the Constance Patchwork Green/Blue Bedspread. We just adore this botanical design, with its soft green, blue and yellow tones contrasting delicately with neutrals. We’re so pleased you love it as much as we do.
June – riding on the Chelsea wave
To mark our 12th year exhibiting at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, we revealed the gorgeous Cordelia Duck Egg Patchwork Bedspread in June. Duck egg blue is such a soothing and timeless shade, and we love how the soft grey and green tones come together to create a sense of serenity that this bedspread can bring to your bedroom.
July – a royal welcome to Hampton Court
Mid-summer saw us showcasing our designs and products at the fabulous RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival. Once again we were inspired by the gorgeous gardens at the show, bursting with innovative design and beautiful plants. And as always, we loved meeting so many of you on our stand, and helping you find just the right bedspread or home accessory to put a smile on your face every day.
August – shoots and summer sales
We launched our summer sale in August, giving you all the chance to treat yourself to one of our beautiful bedspreads or homeware products for less. And at the end of this month, our sister brand Millie Mae had her moment in the spotlight, with a photo shoot to launch the stunning Autumn 2025 collection. From luxurious silk scarves to cosy ribbed gloves, and hair accessories that add just the right amount of sparkle, this is a collection we’re really proud of.
September – a partnership made in Somerset
As the seasons shifted and autumn made itself known, we were delighted to pair with another local Somerset business, cheddar makers Wyke Farms, to give their customers a chance to win a bedspread and two pillowshams. We love supporting other independent businesses, and fourth-generation cheesemakers Wyke Farms have their roots in English history and heritage, just like us.
So, with the sun having set on summer, and the run-up to Christmas in full swing, it’s all about looking forward to the year ahead. We’re so excited about what 2026 will bring, and we can’t wait to share it with you.
